Who You Are As the Business Development Representative you will create and manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success within their assigned territory. This person may be the first point of contact with the client and is responsible for developing new business and obtaining new clients. This position will sell Diversity, Equity & Inclusion consulting and training services to large and multinational clients. A background in DEI is strongly encouraged. This person will be working with highly educated DEI Educators, Coaches, and Clients. The Business Development Representative will communicate with clients to ensure that all of their initial needs are understood and addressed. They will build strong client relationships to maintain existing business and acquire new clients. They are responsible for collaborating with various internal departments to ensure customer requests are fulfilled, in order to close the deal. Possess exceptional communication, computer, and problem-solving skills. Be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with clients. What You Bring Genuine interest and passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion 5 years experience working with multinational corporations Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative or a similar role (4+ years) Hands on experience in selling consulting services and an ability to deliver an excellent customer experience (4+ years) Knowledge of CRM software (4+ years) Understanding of sales performance metrics Excellent communication and negotiation skills Experience using tools such as; Salesforce, ZoomInfo, GMass, Google Docs/Sheets, Learning Management Systems, etc. An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time DEI or Anti-racism certifications or willing to work towards one at the beginning of your contract Bonus Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or 4+ years of Sales experience Your Deliverables Establish, build, and maintain strong relationships with clients to build trust Identify business development opportunities for the company Respond to clients inquiries received via email, virtual conferences, and phone calls Multi-task between various inquiries and systems in a fast-paced environment Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner Report on status of accounts and transactions Actively listen to each client in order to gain perfect understanding of their individualized needs and business Properly manage client’s expectations and follow through on commitments Collaborate with the Blue Level Consulting team members in order to solve inquiries Generate new sales using existing and potential customer networks Rate and Hours This is a Contractor/1099 position for the first 90 days. After 90 days you may be eligible for W-2 full-time employment. The base salary for this position is ($47,000 - $55,000 annually) based on experience Commissions (monthly) + Team Bonus (quarterly - potential) Work Environment This job operates remotely.
