  • Understand the concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion and the benefits of having a diverse, egalitarian, and inclusive culture. 

  • Understand prejudice, unconscious and implicit bias, and intersectionality.
    Become aware of examples of discrimination, microaggressions, and racist actions.

  • Learn about privilege and the importance of everyone’s involvement. 
    Increase awareness of LGBTQ2S+ identities.

  • Become well-versed in the principles of inclusive language.

  • Reflect on when you might have witnessed situations of discrimination and racism and have not spoken up and become self-conscious of your own biases.

  • Learn how to respond to discrimination and microaggressions.

  • Understand Active Allyship and how to support victims of discrimination at the individual and organizational levels.

  • Discover how to aggregate your D&I learning to the organizational level to drive broad change.

  • Review examples of how people in your role can contribute to positive change.
