Candace Hurt has over 10 years of experience in hospitality and customer service. During her time in that industry, she made a point of emphasizing the importance of utilizing local and minority-owned suppliers and distributors, trained and mentored new team members, and led conversations that sparked corporate-wide Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-racism initiatives within a popular boutique hotelier.
Candace is an impassioned advocate for mental health awareness, as well as for increased access and treatment options―especially for underserved Black and Brown communities. She has a bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Loyola University Chicago.
